In the first quarter of 2021, the pair puzzle category saw varied performances from its leading apps on the Android platform in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Starting with Match 3D -Matching Puzzle Game, published by Lion Studios Plus, the app saw a steady revenue trend starting at around $16K in the last week of December and peaking at around $23K in late January. Downloads began at approximately 45K in the last week of December, with a declining trend to around 10K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 200K and decreasing to around 140K.

Higgs Studio's Tile Connect - Matching Games experienced modest revenue figures, with the highest being just under $1K in early February. Downloads for the app started strong at 38K but saw a decline to 7K by the end of the quarter. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 60K and dropping to approximately 40K.

Another Higgs Studio app, Tile Master® - Triple Match, showed revenue starting at $902 and falling to $368 by the end of March. The app's downloads saw a decrease from 16K to around 9K, and weekly active users dipped from 121K to around 98K in the same period.

JY GAME's Draw n Road, which did not generate revenue, kicked off with downloads at approximately 11K, reaching a peak of around 12K in early February before falling to 4K. Weekly active users saw a peak of around 19K in early February, then dropped to about 7K by the end of March.

Lastly, Mahjong Solitaire: Classic from BitMango showed the smallest revenue, peaking at around $290 in late March. Downloads started at 4K, reached a high of around 9K in early February, and ended at around 7K. Weekly active users showed an increase from 11K to around 16K midway through the quarter, ending at around 14K.
